WORKSPACE
In keeping with our practice style of teamwork
and interactivity, we brought in architects BurkettDesign and artist Emilio
Lobato to create a remarkable office environment that makes our employees,
clients and guests feel at home.
Inspired by the austere structural beauty of Japanese barns and industrial
warehouses, the design team created a space that is rich with layers of
color, texture, and detail.
Generous windows bring daylight and views into an interior where raw concrete
is juxtaposed with light-colored ash and polished metal. Surprising architectural
elements, sculptural light fixtures and furniture, and original art bring
an aesthetic to the space which creates an environment which nurtures
thought and creativity. A circular floor plan encourages interaction and
numerous comfortable seating areas foster communication.
The beautiful workspace was completed in August of 2007. The prime corner
of office space, with views of the downtown skyline was designed with
the employees in mind to provide a beautiful, light-filled lunchroom and
community space. Also incorporated in the design is a yoga/meditation
room which offers both a quiet retreat and class space for the practice
of yoga. The yoga classes are currently led by an experienced yoga practitioner
who also happens to be one of our associates.
In 2008, the McGeady Sisneros, P.C. office space won three awards from
the 2008 American Society for Interior Designers, including:
• Best
Commercial Design Under 35,000 Square Feet
• Best

• Judges
Merit Award, Commercial
Additionally, the office space was featured in the Spring 2008 edition
of Architecture & Design of the West and the June 2008 edition
of On Site magazine.
